Knowledge for Change Knowledge For Change is a joint venture between Spitalfield Crypt Trust’s New Hanbury Project and Foundation for Change. It’s an engaging and carefully structured social psychology and philosophy course specifically for residents of Hackney who are at an earlier stage in their recovery than participants who may be referred to our other courses The course offers: A 10 week course for 1 full training day each week (10.30am - 3.30pm, Fridays). full handouts for each session the opportunity to go on to complete further training with us Knowledge for Change provides participants with an accessible introduction to psychological theory and aspects of philosophy that help individuals understand patterns of human behaviour in a broader social context, at the same time as building their strengths, aspirations and healthier relationships. "The course totally shifted my perspective on my own story and helped me see the bigger picture." The course includes a Level 1 Award Certificate in Progression through the Open College Network as well as an optional placement on completion at one of Spitalfields Crypt Trust’s social enterprises.
