Clothing for Change is led by Bex Excel, a graduate of two of FfC’s courses, who began a volunteering placement with Foundation for Change in 2016.

A trained tailor and costumier, Bex was creating costumes for the BBC before encountering difficulties with substances.

She says of her experience on our courses:

“Foundation for Change saved my life and gave me a purpose and direction I never thought was possible. I was encouraged to find out who I was and become that person. I wanted to give something back to FfC and together we came up with the idea of Clothing for Change. I’m excited about developing it so it changes other people’s lives like mine was”
