Winter has arrived with full force and here at Foundation for Change we have been busier than ever. 

With the end of the year drawing nearer, we take a look back at 2022. 

 

Courses

• The first course of the year was Feminism for Change which was our last online course. After that all our courses returned to in person training so it was lovely to have our offices filled with people again.

The summer intake of PfC saw our two new staff members take part as full participants. This gave them an in-depth and experiential introduction to the work of FfC

• Our Autumn intake of Fem was redesigned as it took place. Our comms and admin officer took part as a participant meaning all the women of FfC have a role in the changes we’re making to our Feminism course.

Impact

• Since the summer, we have been improving our monitoring, evaluation and learning  processes, and have started to measure our impact as we grow. 
• Amberlee, the Head of Impact and Communication has been working on building an Impact dashboard with a view of using our data to tell powerful stories. Look out for more on this next year!

Partnerships

• Jayne, our Head of Learning and Development has been raising the profile of our work by regularly presenting our approach to London drug and alcohol services for them to signpost people to our courses. 
• Our referral pathway has been smoothed out to enable more people to access our courses.
• Jayne and Bex held a taster day at our offices to introduce our approach to people working in services. We received great feedback from this so aim to hold more of these next year.

Funding

Co-Op have accepted us into their Local Community Fund. You can now support us by signing up to their membership card and selecting us as your chosen cause.

Coming soon…

We’re planning to offer some one-day taster sessions that will introduce our work to people in bite size form. We’ve yet to confirm the themes but we will keep you posted - details will be added to our website. 

We are closed from 23rd December until 3rd January 2023.
