2019 seems to have flown by so fast, we can't quite believe this year's approaching an end.  It's seen us grow a few more grey hairs, need to catch up on more sleep and wish, at times, we each had a 'clone' in order to keep up with ourselves...

Venturing into new territory has certainly kept us busy. One thing keeping us busy over the summer was the development of our Theory of Change which, in turn, has informed the work we are now doing developing a new, rolling strategy, a process likely to keep us busy well in to 2020.

This could not have taken place two years ago, or even last year. It's taken us half a decade since our beginnings as FfC to get to a point where we have developed enough understanding about the intricacy of our work and how we are able to have an impact.

The need to be able to demonstrate this is ever greater, as Bob explores elsewhere on our blog.

In September we completed our first pilot of Clothing for Change. As part of a two strand initiative to incorporate practical and personal development skills for graduates from our other courses, we wanted to bring our approach to a training environment in which participants tackle demanding technical content over a longer period of time. It's an ambitious and aspirational course and addresses the increased appetite individuals at this stage of their recovery often develop as they look towards building their futures. We're pleased to say the second pilot is well underway. You can see more of our trainees' work and follow their progress on instagram.

Alongside our other courses, Psychology for Change (formerly known as the NEXT Project) has continued successfully, with a 100% completion rate for our group which finished in August.

We have exciting things planned for our feminism work in the coming months, so look out for special updates before the end of the year. In the meantime, you can read an interview with one of the women who recently completed the course.
