The Trustees of Henry Smith Charity have awarded Foundation for Change a multi-year grant totaling £95,000 over 3 years to fund our courses and contribute to core running costs.

Grants like these are invaluable because they allow us to plan long-term, knowing that funding is secure for us to be able to offer the range of courses we'd like to our trainees.

Over the next 3 years we will be working with the Improving Lives programme team at Henry Smith to deliver courses and support for over 200 graduates with histories of long-term unemployment and substance misuse in ways that improve their self-confidence, well-being, esteem and resilience.

We received some lovely feedback following a visit from the charity to our premises in Hackney where they met some of our team...

During assessment we were particularly impressed with Foundation for Change as a small, committed organisation supporting people through structured training programmes to address complex, interrelated issues. Your staff team are all impressive individuals and it was apparent that the organisation has an excellent person-centred approach that is delivering good outcomes for participants.

We're delighted to also have received funding this year from Garfield Weston and the Hill Dickinson Community Foundation, both of which will enable us to broaden our reach by offering free Psychology for Change places to individuals from across London.
