Covid-19 has profoundly changed the world as we knew it. It seems easy to feel overwhelmed by our own emotional responses to what is happening, and to feel overloaded by the amount of often conflicting information and news. We believe our approach of using theory and knowledge to help make sense of how our inner worlds are responding to the outer world can play a vital role in helping navigate the challenges of these confusing times.
The Making Sense Of… Podcast is our way of bringing our work to you in the absence of being able to run physical groups. It is a fortnightly programme to help people process and make sense of their emotional responses to Covid-19, develop connections with others and learn our way forwards together.
We are not experts, we are people using what we know to try and make sense of these times together. We are also not accomplished pod-casters! Recordings might be glitchy and on the low-tech side but we are most definitely learning through doing.
We will release a new podcast every fortnight, with each having a specific topic discussed by the FfC team. Accompanying each podcast will be seminars hosted on Zoom to give you the opportunity to dive into the topic further and in a more personal way. The first three seminars relate to the topic from the podcast, the fourth seminar each fortnight is an open space to come and connect with others.
