Making Sense Of... Podcast

Covid-19 profoundly changed the world as we knew it. It was easy to feel overwhelmed by our emotional responses to what was happening, and to feel overloaded by the amount of often conflicting information and news. We believed our approach of using theory and knowledge to help make sense of how our inner worlds were responding to the outer world could play a vital role in helping navigate the challenges of those confusing times.

We created our Making Sense Of… Podcast in response to Covid-19 and lockdown and became a way of bringing our work to people in the absence of being able to run physical groups. It was a monthly programme to help people process and make sense of their emotional responses to Covid-19, develop connections with others and learn our way forwards together.

Having released 28 episodes and covering a tonne of varied and different ground, we decided to pause recording and bunch all the episodes made so far into our very own Season 1. We hope to create a season two in future so watch this space!

A note on the recordings: We are not experts, we were people using what we knew to try and make sense of those unbelievable times together. We are also not accomplished pod-casters! Recordings might be glitchy and on the low-tech side but we were most definitely learning through doing.
